Hannah's birthday was so special. We started at 10 am with a festival of chocolate and ended with pizzas and movies at the Boyd's home. She was so blessed with lovely gifts including a gorgeous lifelike dolly from granny, a hamster from Queenie, a new bike from Daddy to mention only a few things. Adrian gave her some of her Mom's jewellery too which was so special for her.
And - there was another special surprise... In August, Nikki had ordered the movie, Spirit, for Hannah (and - strangely - gave my mom's telephone number as the contact for when it arrived!!). My mom got a call from Musica TODAY to say it had arrived. It's like she organised her own special pressie for her little girl! If you know Hannah, you would know that she LOVES movies, LOVES horses and the 2 combined make a winner gift. Go mommy!!!

I'm all choked up again Evie, reading about sweet Hannah, and Nikki's amazing mothering even from heaven, so touched by Adrian's gift to her too - those pieces of jewellery are going to be such a blessing in years to come. Praise God that she did indeed have a super special day...and that God cares about them so very, very much...
ReplyDeletemuch, much love to you all...
Dear Eve, Cara here. Christian (my 6 year old) got a little girl in his class that will go next year to The Rock for Grade 1. They are missionaries from America. Would it be possible for me to give her your phone number that she can contact you to maybe organise one afternoon a playdate with your little girl? Her name is Tammy and her little girl's name is Chloe (she also got another younger girl) - I think it will be great if Chloe knows at least one person before she goes to Grade 1. My email is kapp.cara@gmail.com if you don't mind sending me your details. Love, Cara
